Housing at West Suffolk are a service that provide assistance to those looking for a home in both the private and the social renting sectors. This involves assessing the priority of Housing Register applications, allocating social housing, assessing homelessness applications and to deliver West Suffolk Lettings Partnership. This is a social letting agency which increases access to the private renting market. Housing can also be involved in complaints about housing and all other relevent issues, they often liaise with landlords to solve these. The Housing department deals with sensitive issues regarding renting and homesslessness and thereofre placements can't always get involved with all the day-to-day work.
