During my work experience placement with Environmental Health I worked on a range of projects and activities. I was involved in the Crucial Crew safety awareness roadshow where Year 6 pupils were taught about food safety and hygiene. I also shadowed food inspections at local cafes, restaurants and hotels which was very interesting. Work within the Environment Team also included local air quality management and greener energy promotion
