Graduate Internships in Suffolk Schools

Graduate Internships

Our Graduate Internships are one year (term time only), work based training placements, designed to give you experience of working in a school prior to going onto teacher training or other professional qualifications.

This route is suitable for recent graduates who are still considering their career options and want to get some paid, hands on experience before committing themselves. As well as teaching, we can offer experience in speech therapy, educational psychology and social care across schools in Suffolk.

Interns attend an induction session and receive training across the year. Support and advice is also provided on access to teacher training and next steps.

Suffolk interns have gone on to successfully apply for teacher training on PGCE courses, SCITT, School Direct and Teach First and we now have former interns teaching in Suffolk schools.

If you have, or are expected to have a 2:1 or above and are interested in placements starting in September 2020 please email teachsuffolk@schoolschoice.org to be added to our mailing list.
